St. Albans Volunteers Clean Up Community

Farmers Boulevard was recently the center of attention for a volunteer clean-up effort held on Saturday, June 12. Volunteers of all ages pitched in to help sweep up trash, pull up weeds, and clean up about seven blocks of this resurging commercial corridor.
Farmers Boulevard Community Development Corp. organized the event, and it was supported by local residents, local business owners, the NYPD's Explorer corps, Project H.Y.P.E. and other concerned citizens who volunteered their time and energy for the clean-up effort.
This was not the first clean-up event organized by Farmers Boulevard CDC, and future clean-up efforts are already being planned. Upcoming clean-up events and other Farmers Boulevard developments will be announced on www.FarmersBlvd.org.
